I think the producer of this track sampled a track that sampled your Combis43 track. I have sampled a few artists myself where I wonder if it is theirs or I am sampling something that was previously sampled…

The end result (in short) was that it didn’t matter where the sound came from originally (otherwise you might have to give credit to the person who invented the upright bass)…what only mattered was where the producer got the sample from.

yes, that’s it. I am interested to find out how this should work. the cool thing about mixter is that it can work automatically.

Just curious …did you play the upright bass and record that in or was it a sample in a program like FL Studio?

I used a multi-sampled patch Stand-up patch I programmed for Reason 3’s Factory Soundbank. All sounds are the ones I created. A self-promo kind of thing ;)
