Hey nice work. I also do a lot of my work in Reason 2.5. In fact, the December 4th remix I did was done using it. I like the ensemble of this piece, especially the wah-like synth at the end. Aside from the drums, which are acoustically put together nicely, I might have added some sort of fx(reverb, decay, chorus, whatever) on some of the keyboard patches to emulate a nice room sound, but otherwise, good work. I’d be interested in hearing more of your stuff. You gonna post more? Later

I understand when you said, some of the keys need some reverb. Everything in the mix have some space (drums, bass, vibes) but the keys don’t. I really apreciate you advice. This is a old song (more than an year).
The keys at the end is an Clavinet D6 sampler thru a wah like filter.

I will select some material to post later. Need to hear more stuff from you also.

Hi Pat, I know, the keys are harsh. They are raw. I have some clipping. I love analogue, and try to make my tracks sound in a organic/analogue way. Sometimes i push the envelope so hard…

When Tony Williams meets with some acid jazz pianist… But improvisation would be stronger, deeper and better. And the structure of this track - I guess - somewhat incomplete. You gotta get work it ut, cause it is an an very good track. But would be better… I’d like 2 hear again after your rework…

Guy, you touch an delicate subject. I know that the track lacks off some kind of structure. This is a problem that i have. And most people don’t touch in that subject…

I think the remix is some kind of soundarchitecture. See Bauhaus, see Gropius. Good inspiratons and great lessons. You can use some mathematical forms and algorythmz. U can do that. Do what u like.

This piece starts out "cautiously tense", moves up into "obviously paranoid", to a final "zoned out - stoned out" mood. I especially dig the clav solo which has a somewhat improvised feel to it, even though I know it was sequenced. I wish you had treated the keys with something. I dont what, but they are a tad harsh. Other than that, real straight!!

Kill the wah quasi guitar that starts somewhere in the middle - use the sax instead, do me a favour, try it :) I’m LOVIN’ IT!

Damn The professor killed this track…I would also like to hear sax as opposed to the guitar but there is nothing wrong with this version at all. I’m also gettin a gotan vibe off this. Very jazzy, very melodic, incredible.
