It’s got the swamp mix feeling to it. I dig it. As a fan of Anchor’s I think you’ve done his vocals justice with this composition.

I love your guitar playing MCJ -I sound like the ghost of a old singer from a village surrounded by fog of strange inbreeders - all albinos - all with a secret.

Nice tension created by where you sat Anchor against everything else; certainly Halloweeny :-) I was thinking maybe the drums/percussion could’ve swelled to a more up-front position in the mix occasionally, but that’s just me getting pointlessly nitpicky with a fun holiday remix. For some reason, this makes me yearn for a David Yow/Anchor duet…

you know, it’s funny you mention the beats since originally, i wasn’t going to even have any. after listening to it countless times, it just seemed like the guitar riff could pretty much cover the backing i was going for (with the incidental stuff of course) but i thought dynamically it needed something to break it up a bit. but i really struggled to find a beat i liked, which is why i kind of played it down and only brought it in for the second half. thanks duckett.
