nice pella alex! great to hear some spoken word from you. i’ve found (and john jones taught me) — don’t sing or speak straight or directly into the mic. speak ‘across’ mic - sideways (this especially works if there is blanket to deaden the sound in the direction your voice is projecting. (a vocal booth is nice too - ahahah!) sideways directional recording helps eliminate the ‘p’ popping (and other air on mic diaphragm.) :)

i love how this concept of ‘sharing an idea’ demonstrates there is no scarcity by sharing your samples and pellas at ccM. sharing robs us of nothing, but gives to many.

The words are so poignant for CCMixter. I really felt the TJ spirit in your rendition. I was inspired to check out the full text of the document referenced and it seems to me it is a message that should be sung from the mountain tops; “idea’s have a right to be free” the role of law is to enable this. The like’s of Disney seem to be, ironically, returning to the English roots that England itself have cast off. IMHO.
