Nicely done. The mix is a little mono which piles some of the sounds on top of your vocal but doesn’t stop the overall atmosphere from working.

Very Lord of the Rings like.

I’ll admit to rushing this out the door. This morning I remembered that I meant to double the vocal and that I forgot to try eq-ing the instrumentals to give the vox some room. For some reason what I know intellectually (that eq is a process of subtraction) escapes me when I am working. I like this so it might actually be worth a revisit. Thanks.

I really like it! Looking forward to hearing other emotions as well.

Thank you, and thank you for tagging your pieces “sad” - that’s how I found them :-). Beautiful stuff.

Very nice — I really liked when the percussio bit came in, in conjunction with the harp, which at that point to me sounds like a harbinger of hope.

Thanks SJ. Happily sadness does eventually give way under normal circumstances. One cannot live without some form of hope always. I’m glad you saw the music that way.

Really nice mix, especially liked the wider more special tabla to the more central ‘mono’ pads and harpy sound.

Backing to vocal blend sounds ok to me.

Too short though!

Funny enough your review came in just as I sat down to do the updated version. I’m still doing it because I think this one’s a little thin on the ground, but thank you very much.

I’m afraid the length thing isn’t going to change. These pieces are sketches by design. As soon as I get v 2 of this out the door next up is “Joy.” :-) Now back to work.
