This morning I remembered that I meant to double the vocal and that I forgot to try eq-ing the instrumentals to give the vox some room. For some reason what I know intellectually (that eq is a process of subtraction) escapes me when I am working. I like this so it might actually be worth a revisit. Thanks.

Scott Altham 1140 Reviews	. permalink Fri, Apr 30, 2010 @ 3:34 PM Really nice mix, especially liked the wider more special tabla to the more central ‘mono’ pads and harpy sound. Backing to vocal blend sounds ok to me. Too short though!

I’m still doing it because I think this one’s a little thin on the ground, but thank you very much. I’m afraid the length thing isn’t going to change. These pieces are sketches by design. As soon as I get v 2 of this out the door next up is “Joy.” :-) Now back to work.
