I am blushing at the sexy comment. I really like this too. This is very different. I like the timing and the care you took with the vocals. Thank you very much. Wow. Now excuse me whilst I listen again.

I’m glad you like it. I really had much fun to make it.

I could not find the lyrics. Could you publish them ?

Cheers!

Yes how do i do that? Lol. I’m still pretty new to getting around the site. Been meaning to put up many more vocals too but I’m lazy. Later I will hook up my external AND dig up my lyrics too.

Once you are logged in, in your “Artists” menu (on the left) click on the “Manage Files”, then click on the “Edit Tags and Properties” on the correct line, then append the lyrics in the “Description” field, then click on the “Save File Properties” button. That’s it: piece of cake! :-)

Not sure I’d characterize these as Led Zeppelin drums (you’d have to turn ‘em up for that), but I’m really digging the eighties style guitar work. Between that and Camburn’s vocals, sounds like a long lost Patty Smyth and Scandal track, with a few celtic guitar riffs thrown in by the guy from Big Country.

I was talking about the rythmic patterns (especially the tom breaks) but you are right, the drums are not loud enough to really sound like Led Zep!

WOW! You have totally changed the feel of the original to make it a totally new song. Fantastic remix on Camburn’s amazing vocal. This is what a remix is all about.

Thanks! You got it, this is exactly what I like when remixing: changing the chords grid, the tempo, the rythm patterns, the instruments used, … but keeping The Voice!

A nice propulsive rock take on this one. Very creative use of the samples. The little backing “wooo“‘s don’t work as well for me here, perhaps they would work better with less fx. The whole thing is an imaginative way to find a new ground for this vocal to conquer. Fun mix.
