I did as you suggested. Listened in headphones. It’s a suggestive and dark trip. Very cool. I like it

This is mostly just percussion and pads, but to say that is to miss all the subtlety - like the cross sticks, the radio effect on the voice.

A minimalist mix that works.

Love the atmosphere - very very effective.

Just to throw an idea out there though - what if you didn’t have any drums in the mix at all? I think the soundscape is strong enough to stand on its own without the beat.

Very cool track.

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn’t considered not including the drums as I thought them important high and low end brackets to the track, as well as lending additional reverb and texture to the space. I have uploaded an alternate “Quiet” mix without the drums so that you can check it out. Feel free to build off it if you have any ideas.

A space that expands peacefully, until the tension and disruption emerge, only to disappear into silence.
