This is what I’m talkin about! Every mix in this contest has a completely new feel and unique artisitic interpretation. I hope all contests can have this wide open spectrum of creativity in it. Great first upload. Good luck to you.

Thank you. This is my first time ever doing a remix and my first contest entry. I agree with you about the range of creative ideas I have heard here. Just being part of such a thing is well worth the work. Good luck to you too.

great cut up work here, definitely a talent at work.

I think mix itself could use a little more attention to levels throughout (were the vocals compressed at all?)

it’s hard for me to picture what the judges are looking for but the music as a backing for parts of a film would be perfect in my book.

Thanks.

I bought Sony Acid Pro 3 weeks ago and am still struggling to figure out the art of mixing and mastering. I did use noise gates and compression on most of the vocal tracks - but I mixed it mostly with headphones !!! Lesson learned. that is a bad idea !
