Thanks Richard. This is divine! A perfect setting for this song - it fits my inspiration perfectly which is a version of Hank Williams Jr.’s “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” that I like to sing. You captured that classic country feel. Your guitar tone is mighty delicious too!

And am I really that pathetic? :-) (When I was tracking this song, I was looking for a rhythm track to use as a click when I came upon Jeris’ wonderful song and I just couldn’t get it out of my head. So I was just compelled to do an alt version — may do a dance version too… ).

I just didn’t like seeing that sit there with only one remix. Had to do something about it. :)

I really appreciate that you did. Truly. You are a most kind and generous mixer indeed with fab skills. Again — your guitar playing and tone on this is perfect. I feel like you gave me an early birthday present!

Dude this is exactly what I thought of listening to this track yesterday!!!! I was gonna suggest it to you for mandolin and guitar. I was gonna add the accordion. Perfect and congrats on the pick!

People are always like, “dude you need to remix this” when there’s folk music around. Didn’t have to tell me twice this time. :)

This is beautiful Susan & Bob - it’s like you’ve retrospectively created a 50s country classic.

What else is there to say but WOW! I was thinking today, I didn’t see any stages with country music. Then I thought, well not many country remixes around here anyways lol. Then I come home and hear this masterpiece.

This is such a lovely song by Susan that it’s a real pleasure to hear it handled with perfect gentleness and respect. I’ve enjoyed each version in turn. This is an Ed Pick for sure. Congrats to you both.
