Got the essence of Kirkoid going on the concert stage

Yep thanks Tex, that was my goal to meet the theme - a summer concert :) (loosely interpreted of course)

Mysteriously minimalistic, powerful and stark. Live at Kirkiod! Nice twist Papa Z!

Yeah when I was going through Kirkoid’s work, about 3 seconds into this piece I was like - “wow I can hear fans clapping about right here, and went from there :o)

Okay that’s it. I’m going to go and hide in a corner now since apparently I don’t know what the hell I’m doing when I mix stuff up. :) This is a fantastic mix Papa! You got mad skillz.

LOL thanks Mana, I really appreciate it. Now if I could only get some production skillzzzz, (for the record though I dropped the quality settings a couple hairs to get that “live” feel”

Rock on! I love how you bring it down and then it builds back up. Are you sure you are not just uploading a concert tape? Come on!

rockin. i am transported to the audience. the live feel of this mix makes it especially unique. blend of sitar and metal-guitar is feast-able. great remix (and playing too!)

Its funny you mention the “blend of sitar and metal-guitar,” at first when I originally thought about it I’m like “ok this is nuts a sitar with metal, really?” But then after looking around there is quite a bit of it. I never knew! I learned a secret at secret mixter.

Hearing yourself play live in a concert you have no memory of, how rock n roll is that? Cheers mate.

Man wasn’t that awesome? The best part was when you jumped into the crowd, and while being bodytossed you were still playing the chorus!

Wow, you turned that sample into a James Hetfield intro! I’m impressed!

I dig the heavy chorus you threw on the sitar sample, gives it a great Cure tone.

“into a James Hetfield intro”

Heh yeah I admit when I heard the sample intro that is how this whole thing got started :)

Rocking. Love the metal/ sitar combo. It works for sure! Also… your whole approach to this remix was very inspired.

Thanks MM, (love your work btw!)

Initially I thought a rock/metal sound with a sitar was rare - but a quick search proved that wrong!
