Very fine work you got there. Nicely done with the “guitar” solo, which is very well thought out (every single note), fits perfectly with the flow and sounds almost real. Nothing wrong with sounding commercial. If music piece is interesting it doesn’t matter if sells fatzillion copies or isn’t meant to be sold at all and yours is definitely very interesting in my humble opinion.

Thank you very much for your comments. I had a blast with that solo although I cringe at how digital some of it sounds. I should probably seek out some better software, heh.

It’s always risky to remix a pella that has been done a 50 times. But you gave it a fresh new feeling. I like it.

Thanks. I did notice the massive list of remixes on the right side of the page when I came across the pell. Went for it anyway *shrug* I’m still pretty new to mixter, everything here, especially to a newcomer, is gold.

66 times remixed, if I counted well. I agree with Rocavaco, but what can someone do, who arrives late for dinner? :)
Nice work, Nethis!

Thank you, Snowflake! Your family, really? That’s awesome. I’d play it for my family but they’d probably yell at me to get back to my day job hehe.

It needs a lion-hearted musician to change the harmonics of such a catchy ear candy! But you did well and everything fits and opens up a total new and unsuspected audio-perspective! Great work!

I’ve always thought this pella was damn too easy and commercial, her voice too candy, I started hating it.
You turned it into gold!
I like the minimalistic guitar sampler, the cut-and-then-odd rythms, the rearranging of vocal samples, the careful use of echo, the gorgeous guitar solo. beautiful everywhere.

Thank you! I notice a lot of remixes (not all) tend to stick to the original notes that accompany the vocals. I suppose mine are less remixes and more like songs I write then find good vocals for, although I’m not sure if that’s technically the ‘right’ way to do it. If there is such a thing as the ‘right’ way.
