Very nice and melodic singing.
Are you using some kind of backing track for the recording?

Thanks. I do usually lay down a very simple MIDI chord structure in Reaper and then play it back using a piano or guitar patch with the metronome as a click track when I record the voice. It keeps me from drifting too far off pitch and rhythm.

I can add it to the STEMs later for reference, if useful.

oh, good to know. I think stems are not necessary. That seems a good way of making pellas without any complicated backing tracks.

I also play the backing track in mono panned 100% left or right using a single in-ear bud (I prefer left), leaving one ear free. That way I can hear my voice in the room, get very little bleed onto the voice track if I am careful (not always), and don’t have phones slipping off my head.

Oh I have to try that method next time I record something myself.
