Market Research Taiwan is unleashing its 4.0 development plan by establishing a new smart machinery promotion office in Taichung, an industrial city on the western side of central Taiwan.

During a recent ceremony, Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) highlighted the importance of having a new office to Taiwan’s Industry 4.0. He said, “our country cannot miss out on opportunities in Industry 4.0 if we want to uphold ‘made in Taiwan’ policies and strengthen Taiwan through industry”.

The Smart Machinery Promotion Office has been established under the ministry of economics Smart Machinery Promotion Program, with other agencies involved including the Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) and the Precision Machinery Research and Development Center (PMC).
