I am very “suspicious” when I hear IDM tracks because sometimes it`s hard to figure out if they are created intentionally or is it just some random plug-in/fx fun. In your case it`s easy. Great work. I love this little jazzy 2:39 and of course warm crackles..

…funny you should mention… I did use a plugin/effect that statistically modifies some of the beats — though I use it very sparingly and with great judgement. It added a nice component of computational organicism. I like the idea of a computer improvising intelligently. It makes composing more of a collaboration with my computer.

Holy shit!! I’m blown away by this track…all praise Minus Kelvin! This is absolute perfection. I’ll be burning a copy of this to pop into the car stereo for sure. Would it be too much too ask for a sample kit (that porta-bass is amazing!)

Very cool indeed. Another hour on the mastering would probably pay off - to get a fuller sound - I’m sure they’ll let you do that for the remix CD :-)

(I’m no expert on mastering by the way.)

Really enjoyed it - thanks!

Not sure how I ended up on this track — you know how it is opening 15 ccmixter tabs at a time — but it’s good. Too bad artist dropped off in 08.

wow. just randomly was showing a friend my old ccmixter stuff and ran across this comment. :) I haven’t used this website in a while since I’ve sort of moved on from this type of music. My more recent stuff is more experimental… and I’ve landed an intense but awesome day job that takes most of my time. Sadly. Doing game development work as an audio engineer! :) I’ll see if I can do some more remixes here soon. Thanks for the positive vibe.
