Other Notes
First thoughts on taking BlakeHT's sample set were to take the rich synthy sounds and introduce some space around them, getting them down to 104 bpm through silence rather than stretching. This led me quickly to myvanillaworld's "no angel no devil" - haunting and beautiful and fitted surprisingly nicely to where I was heading with the track.
Initially I pulled a few phrases out of the vocal material and left it at that. Later I added segment of one verse and the chorus.
