British politics has a very ugly side, notably under the Thatcher government of the 1980s children were taken from care homes to be used as sex toys by some of the most powerful.

Though things are slowly changing for the better, the respectability of the well to do has been taken a lot more seriously than the lives of sex abuse victims, cruelly robbed of what should have been the happiest times of their lives. I was fortunate to have lived a sheltered life and an innocent childhood, but my wife and several friends were molested, and have needed psychiatric care for much of their lives. The subject is so ugly that just knowing about it is enough of a burden to deeply disturb. Sorry for having to inflict music like this, but we need to get the word out.
