On first hearing Javolenus’ When winter comes I was struck by its similar themes of seasonal change and ageing in two Shakespearean sonnets (18 and 73.) I think Javo & Old Bill mash up pretty well together. To any purists out there who have trouble hearing Shakespeare in an Aussie accent – suck it up!
