Coventry Carol (DarwinTunes Drone Mix)

I hastily knocked this up to feature on the geekpop Christmas podcast. The loops in the background came from the DarwinTunes experiment (music by natural selection).
We had three groups of students each evolving a separate population of loops. Two of the populations ended up sounding pretty good and had plenty going on. One population lagged behind, and was pretty boring in comparison, however some of the loops did work quite well with this vocal so I used them! I didn’t have the time or expertise to sort out the timing, however. It doesn’t sound too bad though. There’s also a population of loops still (for the next week or two at least) evolving under selection by the general public, you can find it and take part at http://darwintunes.org
