Update 8/12: I did a moderate lyric rewrite on this and rerecorded it…..Original Post….About three months ago, I started writing songs in all different genres every day on my commute to and from my job (had only ever written a couple songs before that). Now I write maybe two or three songs a week that way (this one is just from today). One style that I like but that I can’t *do* is rap. So with this tune I did the closest thing to rap that I can passably do, which is soul/r&b. I did note clipping (again) in a couple spots, but I think it’s mostly the chorus, and the first chorus (they’re all basically the same) is pretty clean so maybe that’ll work. If anyone wants me to rerecord all or part of this one to use it, please let me know. The “sexy” tag may be wishful thinking ;). Peace. —Chris
