Thanks to nickleus for all of the samples and inspiration. I’ve been enjoying checking out all of his sounds. I hope this little spoken word treats them right.
WORDS: The torment Of being a human being The torment Of being a sentient being The torment Of this awareness Deep within Every moment We know Death is lurking We’ve built up our defenses So very well That we are unable to penetrate Our own mind’s fortress It stifles our consciences So we forget the imminent Deep within Every moment We know Death is lurking If we didn’t have this ability This mental blockade of reality If we didn’t have this ability Would we be evolved? Would we be stunted with agony? Would we go literally crazy?
