Thanks, KCentric, for the track UNO TWO (Instrumental). I had an entirely different idea in mind when I first set out putting my vocals together for this song. However, when I tried putting the phrase “I was walking down the hallway” to the beat of the tune, it all just flowed together from there.

Note: All I’ve done is speak the lyrics I wrote to the tune. I’d love to see what other people can do with it.

Lyrics:

I was walking down the hallway.
It was cold, dark, and lonely.
There was a girl standing there
Staring at the shadows on the floor.

She looked up and smiled at me
And asked if I could see her.
That was when I realized
She was a ghostly figure.

Slowly disappearing,
She tried to kiss me then.
Cold and dead were her lips against my own.
It sent shivers down my spine.

I don’t think I’ll see that girl again
Even though I walk that hallway all the time.
Like the shadows, I feel her presence lingering
Searching for a lover in the darkness of her death.

When once in death, do you think you can return
Again to walk amongst the living?
Or once in death, do you think you must abandon
The world where flesh and blood are whole?

I’m walking down the hallway.
It’s cold, dark, and lonely.
I see a girl standing there
Staring at the shadows on the floor.

She looks up and smiles at me
And asks if I can see her.
And that’s when I realize
She’s that same ghostly figure.

But this time not a ghost at all,
She kisses me again.
Warm, wet, and loving are her lips.
She trembles as she presses up against me.
