*The Spinning Merkaba Hymn with
Dokashiteru and New England Xylophone Symposium

I enjoyed Dokashiteru’s ebullient music so much I couldn’t resist writing some lyrics and attempting to sing them.
I had to research Merkaba (pretty interesting stuff if your interested here is a link: Merkaba)

Here are the Lyrics:

Hallelujah – Amen…..

I unfold the map and find “X” marks the spot
Saw what’s there to see and then what is not-
That nothing in this old world’s what its seems;
The dreamer may wake up but still dreams his dream.

Oh bound by these lines of defined latitudes
By ideas and dogma – decreed platitudes;
Let’s step on the gang-plank leave all that behind…
Let’s peel back the night
And open our eyes.

(Row Row Row Your Boat gently down the stream
Merrily merrily merrily merrily Life is but a dream)

Our freedom is caught in the balance of time
Shaped and conditioned by Forefather’s minds.
Let’s shed these sad notions
Goodbye to past woes
As swimmers swim naked without any clothes

Up ahead there’s a lighthouse
Friend’s voices cry loud!
We’ll heed them
We need them
Far from maddening crowds
No man is island
We surely agree
We’re linked by an ocean of pure energy…
