How about a Mixter Plus Discord server? =) Would that be too much work?

There actually is one:
[EDIT : LINK REMOVED because I suck at discord] [ If you want a proper invite to the discord channel, email the admins and we’ll get one out to you ] There are periods where some people come by, and then there are longer periods where almost nobody does :( On the whole, the forums here are seen and responded to a lot more frequently, but I for one am down for more realtime chatting… |

Hi Attic Ella,
We determined that the Discord channel is still functional. Before you get the invite, make sure you’re signed in. Then, after you get a current invite, it will take you to the channel. Any previous invites you were sent have expired, but no worries, another one can be sent. Refer to mwic’s response for information about getting a new invite. Sorry it took a while to figure it out. Not sure how widely applicable this might be; I found examples of songs I posted on YouTube and YouTube doesn’t credit me. For example, I contributed the song featured here and YouTube credits it to
“Artist: Snowflake|Wiseman” Also, a song I did appears in this video here but YouTube does not credit the song or me. It does credit “Song: Whale Dreams (Abyssal Remix) Artist: AuntBeast” which is somewhat strange because someone posted a video of a song I uploaded by that name here but there YouTube also credits the same song/artist—not me. So my suggestion would be to ensure YouTube credits makers appropriately. |

Hi Ben,
Sorry for the late response. I don’t think anyone here can get YouTube to credit things properly, they are in their own bubble, lol but Rest assured, the thumbnail and title credit you, and as far as the bottom line goes, you can trust that we will distribute royalties properly. It’s frustrating that YouTube’s crediting is inconsistent, I have hope it will come together eventually. Thanks for letting us know! Kind regards, Apoxode |

I would like to search for “instrumental,” and be able to click a button that starts playing the preview tracks of the results one after the other without further clicking. Such functionality could extend to continuous playback of any search result, including stems (e.g., all the songs with singing bowls and/or those derived therefrom, all drum stems at a certain tempo (which might be useful for auditioning parts), etc.).

Thank you; functions as desired for instrumentals in the ccMixter catalogue. I don’t know how difficult it would be to generalize to Mixter+ in an obvious UI but I tried the URL http://mixter.plus/playlist... and it returned results that played as expected/desired. Thanks again!
