I uploaded samples in mp3 format, was told that I could hear them in my playlists. I can hear other people’s playlists but not the one I made. It was 3 zip files and I put them all into one playlist. Maybe I should break it up into three, I don’t know.

Also the player isn’t showing up on your sample uploads. Did you upload previews as mp3?

Yes, as mp3.

Is it because they are in .zip files? 3 separate .zip files in one playlist? |

You can keep your zip files, but you’ll also need to upload a separate mp3 as a preview track for each of your uploads.

But I can’t, it’s not next week yet. That’s a really limiting rule. |

You can add files to your current uploads. The limit is for new uploads. Here’s how:
*Go to your track’s page (i.e. http://ccmixter.org/files/M... *On the left side of the page, click ‘Manage Files.’ *Then you’ll see a button that says ‘Add a new file.’ You can add the mp3. You’ll then need to reorder your uploads so the mp3 is listed first. That way the player will automatically show up. :) |
