Thank you to everyone who did #MusicConnectsUs promos. Right now we’re working hard on the audio, video, and setting up the fundraiser. Everyone’s soundbites make the video extra special. They make this project exciting and inspiring!

1.) If you missed the deadline for the promo and want to make one, please do! Even though it won’t be included in the fundraising video, we’re making mini-videos that will be released throughout the campaign and we’ll try to use it in one of those. (Here’s the awesome playlist of promo examples.)

2.) Meanwhile, we’re figuring out the perks for the IndieGoGo fundraiser. One of our ideas is to offer our music skills as a perk. We’re looking for 5 remixers and 5 songwriters (pells/spoken words) who would be into making a remix or pell that would be dedicated to the donor. These would be for high dollar donations. If you’re interested in helping out ccMixter in this way, please send a message to snowflake.

3.) Another way you can help is by recording your ccMixter story. Share what ccMixter means to you… how it inspires you as an arist… how it connects you to other musicians… Here’s a wonderful example from rocavaco. (Thank you so much, rocavaco!) We’ll share these throughout the campaign.
