we temporary cookies for security login purposes, giving the option to the user to set it permanantly (across sessions)

currently the underlying code we use (ccHost) doesn’t have URL based session management but we’re certainly open to the option and I’m pretty sure the code could deal with it ok.

ccHost is open source so anybody with skills and motivation is welcome to contribute this as a feature for us… otherwise, unless users start complaining that it’s hindering their experience on the site it’s not a high priority for us.
