I agree! The secret mixter most certainly brings the best out of our community and generates a lot of good will, good cheer, and good music!
The winter secret mixter is right aound the corner! We don’t have the dates set yet but expect sign ups to start in November for a December upload day. So stay posted! |

The Secret Mixter is a remix event. Everyone who signs up is randomly assigned another mixter to remix (two weeks after the sign up period starts). Of course, you are also randomly assigned to someone else who will do a remix featuring your uploads. On upload day, everyone shares their creations (two weeks after assignment go out). The Secret Mixter traditionally brings out the best in everyone with some of the site’s finest work emerging on upload day. If you visit the ccMixter homepage, you will find links to playlists of prior Secret Mixter events (in the “Previously” box).
