If you’ve been experiencing unwanted popup alerts and other strange behavior on the site since Friday night we’d like to ask you use your “clear your browser’s temporary files” feature.

For Firefox that means
1. click on the ‘Tools’ menu
2. click on ‘Clear Private Data’
3. Check ‘Cache’ and uncheck everything else
4. Click on ‘Clear Private Data Now’

For IE7:
1. Click on the ‘Tools’ menu (the little spiked cog wheel icon thingy)
2. Click on ‘Internet Options’
3. Under ‘Browsing History’ click on ‘Delete…’
4. At ‘Temporary Inernet Files’ click on ‘Delete Files…’
5. Answer ‘Yes’
6. Click on all the ‘Close’ buttons

I’m really sorry to make you have to do this, a “professional” would have figured out such a fundamental thing so you don’t have to do this, maybe I’ll figure out a bulletproof way of handling this so you won’t have to next time.

Thanks!
