What a very different colouring this has - where my original proceeded from reassurance, this takes a different angle, proceeding perhaps from a point of urgency on the singer’s part. I hadn’t imagined it that way, and yet it is as complete a vision as mine. I really like the darker colouring!

Thanks AB. I’ve been telling this before, but you sure got pipes and definately know how to use ‘em. I also love the way you keep the melodies tightly in control and relatively simple. It’s always a treat for me when you upload a new pella - I can’t keep my hands off of them. ;)

beautiful version of AB’s song. i love the way the chords on the keyboards sound as they might if played finger-style on acoustic guitar. very moving.

Way to feature. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Admiral Bob’s vocals presented quite as well as this. Although it does have a certain sadness, as if there was an earlier version before he realized he was wrong. I like that little ‘broken amp’ bit near the middle too.

Thanks Speck. “… as if there was an earlier version before he realized he was wrong”. LOving that one ;)

Very very nice. I love the delicate synth - the mood reminds me of Eurythmics’ “1984” album. That’s a good thing, by the way. :)

Great use of f/x on the vocals, and I like that you added vocal harmonies in the refrain; but there are a few artefacts that show up from the re-pitching that is just a bit distracting.

Absolutely lovely track though. Five jars of pickled herring for you.

Thanks Colab. I was too lazy to get rid of the artefacts, hoping none would notice them. Dang! ;) Now I have to go and do what I was supposed to do in the beginning - smooth out the crackles on the vocals. Also noticed now couple of wrong notes in the harmonies I created.

Another Zep Hurme masterpiece. I was not fully convinced with the last few songs (they were good, but…) but this now is great. Heard no artifacts, overwhelmed by the overall sound!

Beautiful, Mr. Zep - may I call you “two sheds”? - Hurme! You make Admiral sound like Peter Gabriel and you have some great sounds here. Especially that 8 bit blowing analogue noodle! Love it!

Thought I was listening to the radio. Seriously. Started the song and went on to other tasks. Then I was wondering where the music was coming from. Looked around and it was you ‘:0)
Cool tune, Zep
