You might want to consider uploading multiple samples as a zip file in the future. It’s easier than doing separate file uploads, easier on the listener, and conserves space on the ‘New Uploads’ page. Peace out, mc.

Thanks for the note. I prefer browsing and listening to files individually. I would like to see user pages divided into samples and remixes (and other subcategories) instead of a long list of all recent uploads. And my apologies for taking up space on that page.

No apology necessary. I agree with you about the advantage of separate pages & browsing options. Just wanted to make sure you knew about the zip file option. Another advantage being that you can upload an mp3 of the samples combined as a preview of how the files sound.

Those are some really good and very user friendly samples. Thanks for uploading. I had the same thought about the way you uploaded them. Man, that must have taken some time. It is nice to be able to listen to them easily, but another advantage of .zipping them is that you can upload wav or flac files that way. I like your idea of having remixes and samples separate on user pages. Makes sense.

Looks like it took 20 minutes to upload which isn’t too bad. Much more time was spent preparing the samples. Most the time spent was tagging them so that people will be able to find them (and I hope they do).

I like the idea about the two separate pages. I think you can just browse samples and type in an artist’s name to get that list though.

Prefer the zip option with a preview. A lot of times I don’t even listen to them before I download them.
