Hmm… I thought the bass was the strong point. It certainly pulled me into the track. I like the distorted vocals at the start, the instrumentation (the way they are there, and yet not overwhelm the vocals)… well, nothing I didn’t like for this track. You gave Shannon’s great vocals an excellent overall treatment. I’m downloading this for keeps. Thanks!!!

A strong, powerful mix. Sounds like something I’d hear on a mainstream alternative rock station. (I mean that in a good way). Well done!

Great production and arrangement. Pretty good how you managed to keep the focus on the vocals in this powerful mix.

Shannon’s voice is a gem and deserves to be always in the spotlight! I tried to keep that in mind always while arranging and mixing the song. Thanks for your comment! |

The beginning is fantastic. I consider this pella a little too candy, so the distorted vocal treatment and groovy bass line were an exceptional off-the-track way of remixing. Unfortunately the chorus returns in the expected path, I would have skipped it sincerely: don’t take it bad, though, perhaps it’s just me who is not at ease with girls’ movies. Remix quality gets higher and higher at every production of yours .
Hey wellman, I’m just back from the Dominican Republic this time, I wonder if someday I will get where are you from precisely.. |

Thanks for your words!! I didnt take it bad. Maybe I should tell my wife not to rent that bunch of girls’ movies :-) It seems Im getting too “candy” hehe
Hope you have enjoyed your time here at DR. Im from Santo Domingo, DR’s Capital. Anything else just ask… |

Hey man, Well, the reviews so far sum this mix up perfectly. The production is top shelf and you’ve clearly thought about the arrangement. Quite refreshing to hear Shannon this way (rather than the mass the electronic versions of this track… including mine!). The combination of the powerful chorus and the supporting string section makes for a great sing a long soft rock anthem. Very well done
