I knew I would love this track before I pressed play and I do. The words are quite good thematically one must say, a restless person who must leave his lover.
Friday must have offered the biggest hangover in history in the UK, we’re all shocked over here as well. I’ve been discussing it with my new British neighbor who’s been shaking/scratching his head while googling on how to get a Swedish passport asap. The neighbor in question makes handmade electric guitars by the way:) Again, brill track, Simon. And…sorry. |

Cheers Per. In one sense I was sorry to mess with your great vocal, cutting up and retuning. But it seemed to fit so well on a number of levels :) am really glad you like the result.
I can’t describe adequately my feeling of dismay at the result of our referendum. Within 24 hours we had a big increase in racist attacks! This makes me want to vomit. I have had a look at your neighbours guitars btw, they look absolutely lovely. |

Nice one.
Regarding Brexit - hopefully it’ll serve as a warning for us here in the US. President Trump can happen, better get out and vote if you don’t want it to. |

Beautiful song. You and Per always sound inspired together.
This is such a crazy world… sometimes all one can do is make music to get through. You have my sympathy… and like Speck, I can’t help but feel the connection… |

First of all: This is again a great one. The handwriting is absolutely british (thinking of the grassroot sound invented in GB). A good thing the brits brought to the world which went international.
And a good example to those who thought “national” makes sense. Must be a slap in their face. |

Late to this song. Glad I found time to listen. If nothing else, I think one’s best work tends to come from adversity. This one is a good example, imo. I wish the circumstances for such a brilliant track was a more positive for you.

Excellent remix and much enjoyed. Great performance by Timberman.
And with you on on the sentiment behind it. As for the EU referendum campaign, I was pretty traumatised by it — especially all the lies repeated in the media. Not to mention the online abuse & threats levelled at “Remainers”. In fact, so much so, I didn’t play guitar for almost a month. The day the result came thru, I lay on my back with eyes closed and recorded this … http://ccmixter.org/files/J... |

I am still disorientated, am really annoyed that my kids will not have the option of living free where they want in Europe …. but hey cant worry about this too much, need to keep digging the fall out shelter so we can hang on a bit longer after trump gets elected |
