OMG, my brother, this is incredibly beautiful. You’ve captured the blackness and the cold I wanted to convey with your beautiful and hurting guitars cutting like scalpels and with exactly the right mood of sadness I wanted. Thankful you took the time to make this, it’s a standout track and I love it.
I should mention the lyric is inspired by Lou Reed’s beautiful song “The bed” from the “Berlin” album from 1973, my own discreet little tribute to a great musician. That song and the preceding song in the track list, “The kids” are the two saddest songs I know of. Despite the gentle acoustic arrangement, they’re hard to listen to in all their naked, albeit somewhat theatrical despair but coping with getting through them and on the other side, one feels stronger and wiser. |

I was really taken with your song Per. You paint a really strong emotional picture with those well chosen words. I am really glad you think my treatment has done it justice :) I had a blast doing it.
Re Lou Reed - yes that is a great track. One among many he did. |

The reverb on the snare made me go, “Ok what’s this about?”. The vocals made me sit up. When the main guitar chords came in, it was like Woah, you’re on to something here!
