Well, I like this slow version a lot. The mighty guitar’s supply an excellent contrast to Emily’s breakable sweet vocals.

Cheers - Emilys vocal was a pleasure to work with.

What do I think of it? I’m glad it took snowflake’s pell to surface your 20-year-old riff! :) Nice arrangement, love the tempo and enjoyed your vision for the song. Like the way it ends. There’s just some wee bits that sounded a little off — parts of the key in which the pell was sung, relative to your guitar chords (mainly around the chorus part). But it wasn’t too distracting.

LOL Hi Ivan, I know what you mean but the chorus is my favourite bit! Emily helpfully made a note of the key the track is in and i studiously ignored it (Theres no B in F Major is there ?!) However I prefer to think of the results as “interesting” rather than “a bit off” ha ha ha.Thanks for listening and reviewing !

Yes, me too, I would have melodyned her somewhere. Your riff is spectacular, is there a chance that you put it in the pot?

Great!! Amazing view of an excellent pella. It really stands out, because it takes us towards different and higher directions.

Another terrific nostalgia trip that is fully described by your tags. :)

I like it a lot. I agree with Ivan though that there are times where the vocals work less well for me. Could I make a very selfish request for you to upload the instrumentals minus the drums?

I know. Very selfish. That’s how I roll. :)

Thanks Colab glad you liked. I have uploaded the stems. My next remix will probably have a hint of nostalgia too but this time i am going to try and remix the vocal in the right key (lol)

Glad that colab did the “selfish” thing :) I wanted to make the same request but since I still had the stems from your earlier upload, I didn’t want to sound like I was asking for it’s own sake. Thanks for sharing this.

i digs this. much like early 60’s art rock. orchestral statements in the guitars & Emily leaves no doubt that her pitch & breath control are at their peak of freshness.

Quote: panu moonorchestral statements in the guitars Cheers Panu, glad you dig, spent ages on this (in the precious hour between getting home, sorting domestic stuff and going to bed to do it all tmrw) and yes, Emilys vocal is beyond compare.

I love the chorus, I feel a little in the 80’s, the good 80’s.
