So I tend to go for tracks that are the easiest to do i.e. vocal sung against a backing track with a strict bpm. I do most remixes in a few hours so I allow a couple of hours for working out the arrangement and knocking together the backing track, a couple of hours recording extra parts and an hour or so to mix and polish everything up a bit.
