That was really fast work! I like how you kept the overall bluesiness of this intact. I really feel like you grasped that feel in your remix.

When I recorded it, I planned to add harmonies in about the spots you put them; however, when I realized I had not standardized my phrasing and how hard it would be I gave up. So it is really nice to hear them in there.

I like the idea of using brushes on the drums and making this an uptempo waltz. In my head, I kind of had a 12/8 time, but this works just as well.

The guitar solo is great, raw and rootsy.

All in all, a really good job, especially given how quickly you turned this around!

I’m very weak for songs in waltz tempo. For me, 3/4 pop songs always sound so melancholic and sort of sad. This one is no exception even if ab77’s message is hopeful. A very fine work , Paul (again).
