I like this very much! It’s understated, and the backing is subtle, with lots of different moods going on behind the singing, which is, as ever, top notch.

It’s really wonderful. The first part and its gorgeous textures remind me of my current mission: to be here now instead of longing for something that is not there.
And the second part! It’s gratifying to hear someone cover a tune that you’ve written!! I also love the transposition of the lyric “Look at all the time you’re wastin’ with all your hesitatin’, babe” to “Look at all the time you’re wasting while all your hairs are turning grey.” Made me smile. That is certainly what has happened to me. All my hair turned grey while my music timeline was filled with vinyl scratches, and glitch pop when all I wanted was a flowing musical melody with some motif variations. Thank you so much! |

” to be here now instead of longing for something that is not there.” It’s definitely a juxtaposition on the second part of this remix because it’s almost like -> they really aren’t there as they keep moving away. And I really love that tune!!! It really fit what I was going through as well. I couldn’t figure out what was being sung so I just changed it up ahah!! Now it makes sense! He was losing his hair and turning grey, and kept running and running and running and running haha he’s still running to this day! Hope you are wellxxxxxx |

sha your voice is so tender, so vulnerable, so full of authenticity — what a beautiful song from the heart. yes, all we have is now — i have to remind myself all the time. this one of the magical things about music, our higher selves help guide us when we’re overwhelmed.
