Just a friendly reminder - samples should be a single instrument and of your own making. Not a combination of sounds or other people’s sounds. |

We’re happy to categorize samples and submixes of our remixes using any selection from the ccMixter manage file menu. We’re easy. Let us know the proper category. Maybe the site needs a searchable “submix” category. Wrt single instrument samples, agree, that is desirable. Took a quick look on the site for examples of the content making up items categorized as samples and did not find uniform categorization of samples and stems. Keep those suggestion and reminders coming. Nice to know folks are paying attention. |
