Cool . CG voice is not recognizable at all but it’s better that way I think.

.
Thanks. I don’t know if CG would agree though. ;-)

Very filmic sound and the percussion is very nice in this context.

Hey, This is goood.
Voice treatment is very pro sounding - kinda makes me think of how the vox was treated on certain tracks from Moloko’s Do you like my tight sweater album (a must if you aint heard this yet). Real nice ambient (in a dark way) vibe you create. The sounds weave together to make a real intriguing piece. |
.
Thanks very much. I will check out that Moloko album.

The treatment of the vocals is very interessting, very filmish indeed.
The backs are as well. Always a new experience to listen to your musical ideas and to the very good technical production, unusual(?), unique and exciting! |
.
Now you are being too kind. ;-) Thanks for listening and leaving a comment. As always very much appreciated.

great stuff. really well produced. original and different. what’s not to like? plus, i love the subtitle. :)
that string swell was great! you do some awesome headphone mixes my friend. :) edit: i just read what others said about it being “film sounding” and YES, i definitely got that impression too, and almost mentioned it sounded like it could have been lifted from a david lynch movie. :) |

With most CS remixes I just get the title from the lyrics, but the vocal treatment was so far out that I thought it wiser to come up with something different. The title refers to what kept me from finishing the remix sooner. The subtitle refers to something completely different though… Quote: MC Jack in the Boxthat string swell was great! you do some awesome headphone mixes my friend. :) Nowadays I do my mixes on headphones. After my computer broke down I had to buy a cheapish notebook and I am too lazy to connect it to my monitor speakers. However, I have recently bought the gold edition box of Twin Peaks. But first I have to finish the X-Files series (for the second time). Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. |

I like it a lot. Takes its time (in a good way!) - and the vocal treatment works well.

Now don’t be so self-effacing! While of course I’m very flattered by your mention (and link, even!) of my July remix, this is an outstanding example of taking source material and creating something entirely new. I really enjoyed the dynamic shifts and textures you’ve summoned up here. Unsettling, in all the right ways!

Thanks. But my feelings of slight disappointment come from the fact that I had something different in mind, but I couldn’t get it to work. Still nice to see that some people seem to like the end result.
