I was pleasantly surprised to see your uploaded version of “Oh My Antonia”…I thought you had given up on it! I am so used to hearing it with the cello that your version with other instruments actually make it seem like a more hopeful and less existential song! The whispering woman adds a haunting element too. Nice work and thanks…

You’re welcome. Every now and then I did some work on it, although most of it in the beginning. This was all I wanted to add to it without distracting too much from the original.

nice……..reminds me a bit of Roxy
Music in about 1973; with the mellotron and the oboe or english horn. Plus I could hear B. Ferry singing those lyrics of Anchor’s…in a similar style. |
