Thank you.
I use open source for all my multimedia tasks these days. Windows is a fantastic gaming platform too! But it’s Linux, Mac or bust seemingly for creative professionals these days! Yesterday was a day in point. A good friend of mine brought his PC in for repair. I said, nothing wrong, just error messages left behind by redundant malware. So I said, no charge for assessment, even computer geeks have a code of honour unlike our local PC World etc who fitted up Gary Glitter because they looked at his private files. No I don’t condone Mr Glitter at all for his behaviour if actually guilty in a fair court of law (hard to find in Crown Courts in the UK). Yet I plugged in my RAPCOM monitor given to me as a friend afterwards and it was dead. Even though my PC was switched off. A virus via VGA!!! (nnot even DVI, HDMI or USB) cable. Just had a row with the sister I grew up with, sort of a row, as it was a one way rant to me, with no chance of reply. Couldn’t get a word in edgeways. Mind control. Scrounger, Cheat, Benefit fraudster, idle (not in Eric’s Grandads’ sense either) I have an older cousin/relative a few years older, we actually have a kid and she’s normal. So all this stuff is rather funny. How long did it take to clear up a malware attack that made KXStudio functional again and my lost work back in almost it’s entirety? A single re-boot! Phil from W&W had a lads day together last week, and the tedium of using the superb Fruity Loops program with an illogical GUI sent me to sleep in minutes. All that glitters is not gold. As in Mariah’s film Glitter. It’s silver, maan! Love from Andy W and family, thank you all for your superb work home and abroad! Andrew Richard and Katherine Ann Wainwright nee Morton (Award Winner, ‘Ottest Body Ever etc) Much love, and seriously,we’re skint still pending a lawsuit! |
