So much fun! Your treatment of this pell is so deep space it could be the most played song on the space station juke box!

And it’s so nice that you are part of the BSMF. Hooray!

oh this makes me soooo very happy!! i like how you pitched my vox — it makes me happier ;) great treatment on the backing vox. your key and chord changes totally work perfectly. head-bopping rhythms and delightful touches with the synth sounds and placement. what a delicious solo. this is absolutely fantastic! thank you sooo very much for this mix

Thank you! I’m relieved that you’re ok with the liberties I took. There were already so many interpretations of your most excellent pella when I started. So I tried to avoid having listener’s ears get too tired. That was the single reason for the 2 semitone pitch up. And once I was at it, going to the major parallel was just a small additional step. And since there were such great guitar players all over the other remixes, I left my guitars parked for this. :-) And besides: Saving the planet should be fun!

Ah, a brilliant strategy, both musically and instrumentally. :) And I agree, saving the planet should be funnnnn!

Listening to ccM on the way to work and as soon as I heard this track come on I knew it had to be Spin.
:) Deceptively simple :)

This awesome track and beautiful pell were made for each other. I love to hear synth used with a traditional blues progression. This is very soulful, a great song and arrangement. The backup vox are a nice touch. In a word, this song is “sexy”.

I was looking after a pella which fitted with your EBM in D groove and found Snowflakes before I listened to your song….
GOD WORKS…

lol - you could always cut up the EBM in D into individual snippets, re-arrange them, add different effects, maybe an extra drum loop and/or some other melodic bits and mash the whole thing back together in a new and different way.

Also: The EBM in D and SnowFlake’s original pella are in different key scales (EBM in D is 2 semitones higher than the original pella), so you’d probably want to re-pitch one or the other to make things work together in key.
