Down to earth grooves :)
I like the natural, organic feel to the rhythm — good choice to stay away from synth beats.
With the weird sounds just under the main level, they have a gradient, shadow effect — a ‘dark blues’ feel.
Throughout, there’s a Tom Waits feel to this mix, a lurking intensity kept at bay.
