Just the other day I hooked up in Stockholm with someone who used to spend quite a lot of time here on ccm. You probably know who. I talked a lot about you and how your music has developed here, especially your production skills. And eventually you started to share your voice. Initially a voice quite hidden behind other elements in the mix but now, as here, stepping up to the front of the stage with confidence. You’ve got a very good singing voice. It’s not classically trained obviously but it’s personal and it makes one listen to the lyric and what you have to say. Excellent composition altogether.

Well you know you encouraged me by example to sing more, so thanks for that.

Um… colab? Somehow I have the impression you, colab and ciggiburns know each other.

I’ve been working on a mix from the early months of ccM archives, got some colab in there, might have some vocals from you in there too, Sometimes, which I guess is actually Jurgen Herrmann’s lyric. Ah, Jurgen, there’s a talent I miss hearing.

Yes, it was colab. We had a coffee and then a short stroll in the city. It’s the fourth summer in a row I get a slot in his very busy schedule when he’s over here visiting family and friends. Jurgen, a fantastic artist and individual, whom I’ve met on several occations, even stayed in their home, has disappeared from radar. Really looking forward to whatever you do with those ancient samples.
