Thanks also for checking out my website. If you want to know, this was actually an avant-garde sorta experiment, consisting in converting words into chords (I used my name for this one) with a program I wrote, like the other programs you find on my website. I’m still testing it, though.

Hi, I d mainly looked at the visual side of the website, but I ve now looked again and will explore further tonite.

I ran the sound2text program on this track but it gave me not one single recognisable word !

Also tried the color to waveform, and now have 4 good waveforms. I use my own reaper synths, but will have to read up how to swap out the wave forms within the synth modules.
If I can figure that out , and if they sound good, I can then change the interface colors to the hex of the colors I use for the wave forms. Have to see how far I get !

Very best
Martin

I get these words, spelled normally or reverse.
no
noon
moon
poo
poop
soon
ok
poor
room
pop
loom
mop

But you should also look at other words spelled with missing, replaced or repated letters, such as “rok”, which could recall the word “rock”, or “loq”, which reminds of “lock”. Then you have to make mind associations for each word through assonance or through shared meaning. For instance soon-sun or moon-lunatic. Once you have a word list or wordcloud with all the words and the mind associations, you can find something in common, a theme, a message, a psychological interpretation.
You made me notice I need to work on a new version of the program capable of displaying the text reversed as well.

The waveforms produced by Color to Waveform sound rather simple. A way to make them more interesting is using them as carrier for a vocoded sound or layering them up across the stereo spectrum. You can also use them pure, if you’re into pure electro and want accurate colors for your sound.

Hello.
If you’re interested I’ve completed and published my program to convert words and sentences to chords. If you want to check it out, you can download it at this link:

Captivating and mysterious distillation and coalescence of two energies.

I love that melody and atmosphere for it, is that yours or was it based on Fonazza-Stent ‘s?

Thanks Apoxode.
I think the answer to your question is yes and no, based on the stems —absolutely, but some parts from me ( the solo synth ). I ll be uploading the stems tonite
Cheers,

I love it when you use the Marimba sound. The MC signature ;-)
A wonderful sound collage.

Actually this time round it s not a marimba, it´s the bongo pitchshifted and compressed, but it does sound sweet !
