I like the intro, with its blown-bottle feel to the melody and its strong rhythm. I like the little background counterpoint bass.

The vocal fit with the backing doesn’t work to my ears. I’m not sure if it’s “literal” fit, or if it’s just aesthetics.

But for me, you’ve got these great patterns going, and they don’t quite work with the vocal. But they are such great patterns, I almost don’t mind.

I do like the idea of different sounds as a juxtaposition with a vocal track—I have in mind to try something similar with Diane’s vocals.

Here, though, I love what you’ve done with those patterns. I imagine a different vocal- perhaps a rap or poem—with this one.
