Beautifull soundscape pads you’ve created in the back.

Listening to all your soundsources I have to say great remix, you really let it sound as 1 track.

I appreciate the great review. I was trying to make something really simple and not go over the top like I usually do. The background pads you mentioned are really just one vocal track.

Dude how did you do that? One of my favourite things to do is play with vocals as SFX so I really would love to hear your trick. If you are willing to share that.

It’s just a couple effects that come standard with Ableton Live. It’s a resonator and a delay. I sent it to a sends track and put it on sends only, which means you only hear what the effect is doing to the track. I also warped the vocals a lot through time warping, reversing, and retuning.

maybe you’re talking about something else though besides the vocals. in that case, those sounds are parts of the beats i sampled. then there’s a bass track.

Hahah - this is exactly, 100% right for me in this moment. It’s a perfectly balanced blend of then and now which manages to hit all my buttons.

Nice, nice, nice.

Seriously. (Re-)listening to this for the umpteenth time and loving it as much each time.

I don’t know what you’ve been drinking, but please pour me one.

this track really grew on me too. somehow it manages to blend in with everything around you and leave you feeling like you didn’t even listen to it, so you replay it.
