Beautifully done.
Has that sort of “what a beautiful world it could be” mix of sad resignation and fond remembrance.
(Or maybe that’s just me.)

Hey Martijn, you’ve always been seriously good — but have you outdone yourself these past few years? The bass sound is incredibly soulful and right on point. Beautifully recorded, too. As a guitarist I rarely feel awe for bass players, but right now that feeling is pretty strong. Thanks for uploading. Wonderful piece of music

Hans, thank you so much for your kind words. If I get a compliment like that from you, it must mean I got better. I thibk getting a fretless bass lifted my expression and playing up a lot.
