While artistically and technically this is a great mix that is not what catches my attention the most here. This mix teases me by calling to mind several bands and artists, while sounding like none of them. It sounds modern and distinct, while still evoking a powerful sense of nostalgia. That is a potent and difficult thing to do. Amazing.
