Really good. The sparse and somewhat elegantly held back arrangement allows the pella to shine beautifully.

Just tackled this pella myself. Really great to hear an alterntive interpretation of it. Sounds really fresh. Great.

this is a very nice arrangement and love the placement of the horns. your production really compliments mkyle’s smooth vocals.

I am catching up on some music here on ccmixter. So I have listened to your latest remixes in one go and I have to say that it was absolutely an enjoyable journey. You’ve got some great stuff here.

I like that there’s a slightly rough edge to the instrument parts - a slightly detuned snare, a dry rhodes, and a trumpet rather than sax.
This could be saccharine urban contemporary lounge lizardry, but with the spare and challenging instrumentation, it ends up being a really clever pop-jazz track. |
